Wanderlust tip toes through Vrisa's Spring/Summer 2016 collection, 'Ahir'. The criss crossing of borders between Rajasthan and Kutch sets the pace for their new nomadic, layered look, bringing together two beautiful crafts, Bandhani and Kutch embroidery. Historically, goat herdsmen and rabaran 'gypsy' women, have wandered through the interiors of these two areas rich in textile heritage, unselfconsciously draped in some of these beautifully dyed and embellished fabrics. Vrisa evokes that sense in "Ahir", bringing those traditions seamlessly to the heart of its patrons and capturing a contemporary, effortless feel in its styles, and quintessential detailing.
